Mental Health Therapist
Kyle Sobey holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology from MacEwan University, a Master of Social Work with Clinical Specialization from the University of Calgary, and is a Registered Social Worker in Alberta, Canada, with the Alberta College of Social Workers.
Kyle has over 10 years of experience supporting those dealing with addictions, poor mental health, psychiatric disorders, trauma, family violence, and various other life challenges. He provides therapy to a diverse range of clients using an empathetic, trauma-informed, solution-focused, holistic approach to identify strengths and challenges, build hope, and empower clients to move forward in life.
Kyle draws from and is trained in various mental health topics and treatment approaches to support specific client needs, such as ACT, SFT, and EMDR. Kyle is always seeking to expand his knowledge and expertise. When Kyle isn't supporting others, he often spends time exercising, gardening, being in nature, and enjoying time with his dogs and family.
