Breana L'Heureux

Registered Social Worker

Breana is a Registered Social Worker who holds an undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Victoria and Master’s degree in Social Work with a Clinical Specialization from University of Calgary. Breana has been employed as a social worker for over ten years, she is registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers and is a member in good standing.

Breana is an experienced registered social worker who works with clients that are experiencing a variety of difficulties that may include anxiety, depression, grief, stress, insomnia, self-esteem, and life transition challenges. Additionally, Breana has specialized in the treatment of stress and trauma related disorders. Breana’s experience comes from working with First Responders, Canadian Armed Forces Personnel, and Veterans. Breana remains informed and up to date on current evidence-based best practices and is trained in EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Breana embraces an eclectic therapeutic orientation in her practice, tailoring interventions to meet client’s individualized needs.
